Warming up...

Prior to the official opening ceremony, the Conference Centre in Glasgow is as busy as a hive. Training courses have started and participants can meet at the various coffee places and restaurants to keep on exchanging about experiences and projects. The Board of Directors of the Europe Section has had a meeting yesterday evening to check that everything was ready to welcome more than 900 participants... and we had the great pleasure of welcoming Paul Beier, the President of SCB, with whom we had very interesting exchanges about the future of the Section.

Folks, this ECCB2012 is another opportunity to meet all of us, chairs of Committees and active members and get involved in the Section, its committees and chapters. There are many things going on in Europe and SCB is at the heart of it, and its members can make a difference. Don't hesitate to get in touch even if you are not attending, Biodiversity needs you!
